Our 1st time to be and Aunt, Uncle, and first cousin!
Lauren was so excited to hold her cousin for the 1st time!Well, I'm certainly behind in my blog updates, so I will try to add any major events as best as I can.....
Back in early October 2007, Lauren's Aunt "Ju-Ju" (Philip's sister) and Unkey Steve were surprised with a call from their local adoption lawyer who had their paperwork on file for over 2 years. A newborn baby boy had just been born in a nearby town, and the birth-mother had chosen Julie and Steve as her first choice to adopt her son. As soon as they met this little guy, they were in love! Of course, this meant that their nearly 2 year wait in the China adoption process would have to be temporarily put on hold.
Philip, Lauren, and I had the chance to meet him in the hospital before leaving for our Disney World trip. He has been such a sweetheart, and he is going on 5 months old now...growing like a weed I might add!
I wanted to share some pictures that we took of him during that hospital visit in October. I will be adding more in the future!
