Here she is folks, straight off of her latest full length film. It's Shirley Temple. Who can't resist those dimples, that smile, and of course. those bouncing curls?
I wanted to share the photos that I took of Lauren in her tap routine outfit. People that know me well know that I love portrait photography. Lauren is such a great subject, and she really "nailed" this shoot! I love how they all turned out.
Lauren tap danced to Shirley Temple's "Animal Crackers" song in May during her spring dance recital. I have to admit that Lauren was a hit! My friend Jenna and her mother Mary attended Lauren's performance. They were both very impressed with Lauren during her tap routine. She showed a lot of spunk and personality on the stage. In fact, Lauren enjoyed herself so much that she was laughing a little on stage. It made for a great performance. Too bad we weren't allowed to video to take pictures during the actual performance! I do have the video of Lauren from the dress rehearsal, however.
I am very proud of how well Lauren did during my photo shoot. I searched for actual pictures of the real Shirley on the internet, and Lauren did a good job imitating some of Shirley's poses. She enjoyed doing it, and Lauren has taken an interest in some Shirley Temple moves that I have rented from the library.
