My baby is growing up way too fast! sob!

Since toddlerhood, Lauren has always adored baby dolls as her all time
favorite toy by far over any others. She has quite an advanced maternal instinct
over any other child that I have ever met. Any baby related toy is still her favorite toy of choice. She is so ready to be a big sister some day,
and I hope someday that will happen when the time is right. What better photo
shoot for me to take of her in July, 2008 then a baby doll shoot with her and the doll
both wearing matching dresses (that I purchased on ebay of course! I'm an
ebay-aholic!) I was so proud of how the pictures turned out, and I hope you will enjoy them too!

Rock a bye baby....

Lauren with her doll, Abigail.

This is a reminder to you that you can
always click on any photo on this blog to see
the pictures in a larger size.

Lauren ooh's and ahh's over her dolls as if they are real! It's cute!

Click on this picture to see it bigger and to see how funny she
is holding her mouth as she pours. It
reminds me of myself while in concentration! Funny!

More tea, Abigail?

I love Lauren's hands in this shot, so feminine and funny!

Tea party for two!
Notice that the doll is actually holding her
own cup! It cracks me up!

This toy cake from Aunt Julie has definitely gotten a ton of use!

Happy Birthday, baby Abigail!
Lauren and I are ALWAYS playing birthday party for
her dolls...aka...little sisters.

Make a wish!

This cake is so delicious!

Well, I have to say that my little baby girl certainly is not a baby anymore. I have always had an emotional time dealing with her birthday each year when September rolls around. I would have to say that other then her first birthday, this particular one was the hardest on me yet. Turning five years old is a major milestone. Lauren is excited to be growing up, maturing, and gaining the responsibilities that only a "big girl" can do. Me on the other hand...well.....that's another story! Ha!

Lauren is so grown up, independent, confidant, observant, inquisitive, hilarious.....I am so incredibly lucky that God has blessed Philip and me with this child as our daughter. Being a parent is no easy task. I am always worried that I may be making mistakes. However, looking at our daughter and her caring, loving nature reassures me that I am doing something right. I pray that she will grow up to be a strong, Christan young woman who is confidant in herself and her beliefs. This world is certainly changing each day. I pray that Lauren will grow to possess the strength in her faith to come at any challenge that she may face with strength and understanding.

God has blessed us with you, baby girl.
