The parents choose a toy from the wish list to purchase for the class. The kids definitely enjoyed opening the new toys for centers.
These are the baby dolls that we bought for the class. Of course, Lauren would choose the baby dolls from the wish list!
They couldn't wait until the next day to play with the toys!
I read a Christmas story to the class in order to give the teacher a chance to clean up.
I have always tried to attend all of Lauren's parties at her day care. I believe that I have only missed one party before Christmas 2008. That's not bad! I know that she loves having her Mommy attend and it makes her feel special. I am trying to get a photograph of each child in her class so that I can eventually start a digital scrapbook of her experience at daycare.
There definitely was plenty of goodies at the party, and I believe that it was enjoyed by all.
I just can't believe that next year she will be celebrating her party in 'big school"...which is what we refer to as Kindergarten. Well, at least I'll be able to swing by and pop in for a visit more easily!
