I had been wanting an excuse to put a Christmas tree in Lauren's room when low and behold, I found the perfect tree for her at Big Lot's. It is a pink tree that is about 3 feet tall! I couldn't believe that I found one in her favorite color! Lauren couldn't believe it either! She was beyond excited.
I called Philip first to see if he cared that I spent the money on it. Neither of us could believe that I did that! Well, when it comes to what his baby girl wants, Philip usually doesn't mind. Big Softy!
After purchasing the tree, we went to the Dollar Tree to purchase some inexpensive ornaments. We lucked out yet again after finding some white and iridescent ornaments in snowflake and icicle designs. Lauren is such a planner. She knew exactly what she wanted and started telling me exactly where each thing should go on the tree and how many she'd need. Maybe she'll enter a tree at the Fantasy of Trees some day. Who knows?
